Career Guidance
Career Guidance is a comprehensive, developmental program designed to assist individuals in making and implementing informed educational and occupational choices. Career guidance and counseling program develops an individual’s competencies in self-knowledge, educational and occupational exploration, and career planning. Career Guidance also improves self-confidence and self-awareness among the learners. Keeping these views in mind, the career guidance classes were organized in different educational institutions from career guidance cell of our college.
Career Guidance Cell functions in our institution with the objective to provide learning/training opportunities in the areas of academics, career and personal/social development to prepare Student Teachers to meet their future challenges, supporting the Student Teachrs in identifying their interests, strengths and planning appropriately to justify their professional needs.
Main Objectives:
The Career Guidance Cell has been catering to the needs of Student Teachers with the following objectives:
• The Cell organizes the programme to create awareness about the importance of higher studies.
• To make awareness of different competitive examinations among the students, such as CTET, K-TET, NET, K-SET & Civil Services and to counsel them for higher studies.
• To assist students for facing the interview at the end of fourth semester.
• To empower students with life-long career decision-making skills.
• To Act as a link between students, alumni and the employment community.
• Up gradation of the students communication skills and personality development by inviting experts from outside for seminars/classes.
